Being human is a wild ride. It can be joyous but also deeply uncomfortable. However, everything belongs - including our shadow, the parts of ourselves that are difficult and unpleasant to face. Just as without darkness there is no light, we can not thrive without acknowledging our shadow and the purpose it serves.
This fall, under the equanimity of the majestic Rakaposhi, we will co-create space for you to turn towards your shadow with compassion and care enabling you to witness, hold, honour, and dance with it. This retreat will provide you with the somatic tools and resources necessary to build safety with difficult emotions in order to help you lean into the gifts and joys of the shadow.
As we learn to respect our shadow rather than shunning it, we can transform our suffering. And as we are not separate from everything around us, when we heal so do our families, our communities and the collective.
